Walter J. Malecke, Jr. 95, of Mount Prospect, passed away peacefully October 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Juanita Malecke. Loving father of Phyllis (John) Chiappetta. Devoted grandfather of Anthony (Christina) Naselli, Jessica (Gavin) Gilbert, Frank (Lisa) Chiappetta, and Cheryl (Sean) Murray, great grandfather of Zachary, Gianna, Gwen, Caden, Mira, Emmett, AJ, and Ben. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Walter served his country in the Army during WWII. He was the longtime owner of Polonia Sausage Company, in Chicago.
Visitation Friday, 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 A.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road, at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect.
Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
